Our world is full of people who have established goals for themselves. We create objectives for our careers, health, and general well-being. It appears that modern culture constantly encourages us to consider the next milestone.
This article will cover everything you need to know about my personal and professional goals and objectives as a back-end developer in this internship (Hngi8). Before then let have a brief look at what is personal goals
What Are Personal Goals?
Personal goals are the manifestations of the things you desire to accomplish in life, whether they are business, family, career or lifestyle goals. You will become more self-motivated and positive if you think about what you want to accomplish in life and make objectives to get there.
Your specific objectives can be either short-term or long-term in nature. They can give you long-term guidance as well as short-term motivation. Here are a few examples of personal objectives:
1. Every week, you will learn something new.
2. Every morning, work out.
3. Keep a journal every day.
4. Every month, volunteer at a non-profit organization.
What Are S.M.A.R.T Goals?
Specific, Measurable, Achievable (or Attainable), Realistic (or Relevant), and Time-bound goals are goals that are written to meet the following criteria: Specific, Measurable, Achievable (or Attainable), Realistic (or Relevant), and Time-bound. Originally, the S.M.A.R.T. approach was offered as a SMART way to develop management goals and objectives. The following is how it was written:
1. Specific: Focus on a single area for improvement.
2. Measurable: Quantify or propose a progress indicator for measurable goals.
3. Achievable: Determine who will accomplish it and how they will do it.
4. Realistic: State what results can be realistically attained with the resources provided.
5. Time-related: Specify a target date or a broad time period for achieving the desired result(s).
Alright enough of the talking, let get down to what i wanna achieve as a Backend-End developer within the 8 weeks in this internship
1. Learn more for other developers learning is one of the best attribute as a human being, i love learning from others, during my 8 weeks stay in this internship, i will put more effort in learning from others
2. Make new friends Yes of cause i will make new friend throughout my 8 weeks in the internship
3. Ability to work with large number I desire to work and collaborate with large number of developers and am so glad i have the opportunity
4. Improve Your Listening Skills Whether it is discussing with a spouse, a colleague at work, team members, or a casual friend, most people are swift to talk but slow to listen. 5. Improve my coding skills Yea, improving my coding skills is necessary in this internship
6. Begin to network Personal and professional development require networking. Make it a personal goal to go to three networking events per quarter to reconnect with old colleagues and meet new ones.
7. Work on your time management abilities. Concentrate more on completing daily duties. Reduce distractions and boost productivity by 40% in the following eight weeks.
10. Every week, learn something new. There is no limit to how much you can learn. Make it a personal aim to learn something new every week to broaden your knowledge and skills. Listen to a podcast, read a book, or acquire some new skill for the programming language you've always wanted to learn.
